Renault AMR35 ZT1 Platoon

The AMR35 ZT1 is more reliable than the AMR 33 and is used as a support tank in the Mechanized Light Divisions (DLM) and the Light Cavalry Divisions (DLC).

AMC 35 Platoon

The AMC 35 (also known as the Renault ACG-1) was designed in 1934, but didn’t enter French service until after the German breakthrough at Sedan. The AMC 35 was used to equip the Motorized Cavalry Groups (CFGs).

Renault R40 Platoon

The Renault R40 has better suspension than the R35 and is armed with the longer 37mm SA38 L33 gun. It is also fitted with radios.

Renault AMR 33 Platoon

Although named as an AMR (auto-mitrailleuse de reconnaissance), the AMR 33 was designed as a light combat tank and was used to support motorized infantry and dismounted cavalry units.

AMC Panhard-Schneider P16 Platoon

The Panhard-Schneider P16 (also called Citroen-Kégresse) entered service in 1928. Originally used as main battle tanks they were intended to be replaced by the Hotchkiss H35 tanks, but some remained in use in 1940.
