Gas Guzzlers

kingtiger1More detailed rules for supply will appear in a later Combat HQ supplement. Until then, the following rules can be used for vehicles rated as gas guzzlers.

Gas guzzlers require frequent refueling to keep them mobile.

Each time a player rolls a Command Failure his gas supply is interrupted. For each 1 rolled, one gas guzzler breaks down.

The player chooses which gas guzzlers are affected.

Staff Orders: Staff Orders can be used to ensure gas guzzlers are kept in supply. One Staff Order cancels one break down.

Max is fielding three Tiger IIs (gas guzzlers). He rolls a Command Failure containing two 1s. After passing the 1s to Tom, Max has two break downs to deal with.

One Tiger II has been in heavy action: it is suppressed and has two Disruption Points, so Max decides to let it break down.

The other two Tiger IIs are at full strength and Max wants to attack with them. He pays one Staff Order to cancel his second break down: the Tiger II is refueled and ready for action.
